To succeed in your disciple making ministry, you must change the way you think about yourself. Because you are now connected to Christ, you are already blessed by God.

Stop thinking about wanting to be blessed. Start thinking about wanting to be a blessing to others.

Gen 12:2-3 EasyEnglish
2 (The Lord said), ‘I will make you the father of many children. I will bless you. Everyone will know your name. You will be a blessing to other people.’ 3 ‘I will bless people who bless you. I will curse people who curse you. I will bless all the people on the earth through you.’

Eph 1:3 NET
Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ.

People with the i-want-to-be-blessed mentally do not often bear fruit for Christ. They tend to focus on themselves and be selfish. They spend all their life praying for and seeking what Christ already provided them. So they couldn’t flow out

Some years ago I changed my prayers from God bless me to God make me a blessing. Bless people through me.

My life changed since then. I can tell you that it’s more blessed to give than to receive.

In other words, it’s more blessed to be a blessing than to just be blessed.

Instead of asking God to send helpers to you why not ask God to make you an helper of people’s destiny.

Go out today with the mentally that you are already blessed and ask yourself, who am I going to be blessing to?

This changes your focus and makes you attract opportunities to share God’s blessings to others.

The truth is that you are blessed by God to be a blessing.

How often have you been sharing the blessing.

  1. Bless people by praying for them to be saved and grow in Christ.
  2. Bless people by pursuing them in love. Love them and care for them with Christ’s Agape love.
  3. Bless people by giving them the word of God. The words of the gospel.
  4. Bless people in all ways you could.

So change your thinking from want to be blessed to I AM ALREADY BLESSED AND WILL BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS.

Start today.

I hope this is useful.

Yours, on mission with God.

3 Most Important Things In The Life Of A Disciple: every successful disciple maker must know.

I want to show you the 3 most important things in the life of a true Disciple of Christ.

Do you want to succeed in the disciple-making ministry? Do you want to successfully help people become true disciples of Christ?

If your answer is yes, then you must know and understand the three most important things in the life of any disciple of Christ.
When these three things are missing, then the person is not a disciple.

A disciple learns from Jesus Christ. Without these things the disciple cannot learn from Jesus Christ correctly.

So many people had ventured into the disciple-making ministry without the full acknowledgement of these three factors.

This has resulted into some level of failure in their disciple-making ministry. It as also resulted into non productive strategies.

They may only succeed in raising people who do not manifest the true characteristics of true disciples. Most of these disciples are so dependent on the disciple maker and never be able to fetch for themselves.

This is not God’s plan for his people. God wants obedient disciples who knows God personally, obeys God wholeheartedly and could make Christ known to others.

Such disciple must not be dependent on the disciple makers to be spoon-fed by them for life. This is a great burden to the minister and the Church.

For you to succeed in your disciple-making ministry, you must understand these three most important factors in the life of any true disciple of Christ.

You must build these things in them first and early enough.

I will be showing you these three factors in this blog. I believe it will help transform your strategy and approach to the disciple-making ministry.
These are the three most important factors in a disciple’s life.

# 1. The disciple must be hearing from Christ personally.

A Disciple of CHRIST is a learner who learn from Jesus Christ directly by listening to what Jesus Christ is saying.

Jesus said “my sheep hears my voice and obey me”. If the disciple is not hearing from Christ (not from you) how can he learn from him and obey him?

Teach the disciple to hear from Christ on his own. This is the first lesson you must teach the disciple.
Teach them how to hear from Christ through his word and the body of other believers.

# 2. The disciple must be obeying Christ personally.

True Disciples obeys the master in all things and always.

A Disciple learns from Christ by practice.
Jesus said “if you obey my commandments you remain in me”.

Obeying what Christ says transforms the disciple and glorifies the Father.

Develop a strategy that teaches the disciple to know how to hear from Christ and obey him as early as possible.
In this way you will be set to produce authentic Disciple of CHRIST.

# 3. The disciple must be sharing with others personally.

True disciples are good advocates of their master. They spread the word of their master every where they go.
This is how the disciple makes more Disciples for the master.

Like the Samaritan woman, true Disciples tell others: “come see a man who told me all about myself”. She told them what the master told her and she had a big harvest of more Disciples for Christ in Samaria.

Do you have a plan to teach and coach the disciple to share with people daily what they heard or received from Christ?

This is how the disciple becomes a disciple maker CHRIST want all his disciples to be.

As a disciple maker, your success lies in making Disciples who hears, obeys and make Disciples of CHRIST.

Knowing this and Teaching the disciple very early to do these will enable you to raise growing and maturing disciples in a short time.

I hope this has blessed you.

How to be faithful in your God given ministry

1.    Know your ministry and do it.

Discover what ministry God built in you, plan to do it and just do it. Find out what is your spiritual gift, your heart and passion, your ability, personality and life experiences. These will help you find out what God gave you to do and how best you can express it. Faithfulness is all about staying true to what you are asked to do. Find out your ministry and start doing it; even when you face tough time doing it, just keep doing it. This is one way to be faithful.

2.    Stay on your ministry and don’t covet other people’s ministry.

Stay on your ministry and don’t get diverted and distracted by so many things happening around you. It is very easy to get distracted when you are looking at other people’s ministry. Remember that your own ministry is very unique and needed in its own right; no matter how small or big. You will face a lot of challenges as you fulfill your ministry. This should not make you quit because it is just a test of your faithfulness. Your faithfulness will be tried and contested by the devil. If there is anything the devil will fight in your life as a Christian; it is your faithfulness to God. Job’s faithfulness was tried by the devil. He believed he was loyal to God because of his prosperity, success and good health, so he attacked all these but Job remained faithful and loyal to God. At the end, God rewarded his faithfulness. Stay on your ministry no matter what.

3. Be consistent with your ministry.

Consistency is the secret of growth in the ministry. If you constantly use your gifts; it will grow and enlarge. Also consistency is the true measure of your faithfulness. If you are faithful you will persist and persevere. Make up your mind to persevere and persist no matter what comes your way. If you do this you will come out at the other side as being faithful. Believe, keep acting, and keep doing what God want you to do. It may not be popular; it may not be big or it may not be as attractive or lucrative; in as much as you have discovered it is what God want you to do, keep doing it. God will reward you on what he asked you to do and not on what is popular that you have done.

4.    Ask for God’s help.

I am the Vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. (Joh 15:5)MKJV

Whatever God gave you to do cannot be done in your human strength. The work of ministry in Christ is a spiritual assignment and not a natural assignment. You are just a coworker with God; you are in partnership with Him. You need to depend on Jesus Christ for all spiritual strength you need to fulfill your ministry. The word of God, prayer, personal fellowship with God and fellowship with other brethren in the church are God’s provision for you to keep in touch with His strength and spiritual ability. Always ask God for help because without Him you can do nothing. Let there be no time when you feel like you can do it on your own.

Faithfulness is the key. The key to successful ministry in the sight of God is faithfulness. God want you to be faithful; in fact He boasts of the faithfulness of His children to Him. Stop pursuing status ministry. Don’t try to do ministry with the mind of attaining great and high status in life. Let your goal in ministry be to be faithful to your call. I love one of the hymns titled “it pays to serve Jesus”. The last line of the chorus says “I will be a true soldier; I will die at my post”. Can you make that your own determination also as you fulfills your ministry? Remember God is pleased only by your faith. Your faithfulness will make you do a ministry pleasing unto God and not to man. Be faithful; pursue faithfulness in ministry and it will lead you to a life pleasing to God.

Very soon, God’s Power and Wisdom will Wipe out all Satan’s Move in the Church as you see them Today.

So many genuine disciples of CHRIST are seriously unhappy and saddened by the current state of the Church.

If your heart is not troubled, it may be it needs a check up. Mine is troubled also.

So many stories comes out of the church cycle everyday. Corruption, fake miracles, satanic miracles disguised as God’s miracles to deceive people. Fake prophets, apostles, evangelists, pastors and teachers.

So many people has been swayed, deceived and made children of hell.

Meeting someone in Church today isn’t a guarantee that h/she is a child of God.

These things has brought discouragement and depression to the heart and mind of many believers and aspiring believers.

So many questions unanswered. Many had changed churches seven to ten times and found they are all the same and now sat at home confused but determined not to attend any Church family again.

During evangelism one day a man I preached to that Sunday morning said he can never go to church because it was a married pastor who took his fiance from him, furnished an apartment for her and used her as side chick. His friend summarised it by saying “if you take one problem to the church today, they will help you multiply it to one hundred”.

This may not be the story everywhere because true churches and believers still exists.
But you will agree with me that the depressing news has superceeded the good testimonies of the church.

As depressing as this case may be, God spoke to me about it and his words gave me hope and courage.

I now decided not to continue to join the complaints but to courageously start a move in the right direction no matter how small.

I will share with you what God told me may be you can learn from it also.

The Lord told me that the Snake of Moses swallowed all the three snakes of the Egyptian magicians. Even though the magicians’ snakes outnumbered Moses’ snake; just like fake pastors and ministries seems to outnumber true ones today; yet Moses’ snake swallowed theirs up and Moses picked his snake that became his rod again.

But the magicians lost all their snakes and rods that day. They went home empty handed.

God said to me that “just as Moses’ snake swallowed all the Egyptian’s snakes, so the power and wisdom of God will swallow all of Satan’s show in the church today.

There is a move of God that is coming now and have even started. It looks small but God is saying that it shall swallow all the present evil in the church as you see them today.

Do not be discouraged and stop engaging in the complaints but begin to be the solution.

Start doing something courageously no matter how small in the right direction and you will see again that the small move of God will soon and very soon swallow all the magician snakes manifesting in the church today.

Stop the complaints about the Church and start doing something today in the right direction.

Stop complaining, Start Acting!

Gen 3:16 NET
To the woman he said,…. “You will want to control your husband, but he will dominate you.”

This is the cause of all marriage conflicts.

This transformation will enable everyone to obey the blessing.
Which is the opposite of the curse.

May we all go the way of the Lord and enjoy the blessing.
Otherwise you will only manage the curse.

Let’s follow Christ to be transformed by him.

This is the way to godly Family.

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged. (Col 3:18-21).

Today we face various challenges in our quest to raise godly homes. Most of these challenges we face can actually be prevented if we decide to run our families the way God intended it to be. God established the home and stated clearly how it should be managed. He gave different roles to individual parties in the home. I believe that God gave the man the leadership role in the home, as a husband and father. If this is the case, how then can a man fulfill his leadership role in the home?
There are about three ways I believe a man can fulfill his leadership role in the home.

  1. God expects you as a man to be a strong leader in your home:

It is not the will of God for a man to be weak in leading his home. You should be a strong leader, as strong as Adolf Hitler. Highly purposeful, well determined and very able to put your leg down and stand for the Godly values expected of us as believers in Christ. God said he is interested in Abraham because he knows he will command his house to obey God’s instruction. God wants you to be a kind of a man after God’s heart, who knows what God wants and is taking the responsibility to lead his family to follow God’s way without compromise.

  1. God expects you as a man to be a strong leader who will lead with love: it is the will of God for you to be a strong leader in the home who will lead with love. This is the challenging aspect to men. is not possible for men to be strong and firm and at the same time be loving tender. But this is what God is asking of us as men. He said “husbands, love your wives” and He also said “fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged”. This requires a tender love from the man. How then can a man strongly lead with love? To do this you must have a very close fellowship with Jesus. This kind of love is born in you in the place of personal communion with Christ. Jesus Christ is a perfect loving leader. And as a man you are to be like Him.

3.God expects you as a man to be a strong, loving leader who leads strategically:

I believe God wants you to develop a strategy to lead your home. You should do this by finding out what God’s will for the home is. What does God want every home to be and do? After discovering this, you will now form a strategy to fulfill it in your own home in order to raise a home that is Godly. Determine and write down the mission, vision and value statement for your family. Then come up with plans and strategies (what you will be doing and when you will be doing them and how you will be doing them), to fulfill this vision and produce these values in the home. For instance to build close fellowship and loving friendship in your home, you may schedule different times for all family members to be together. You should be innovative about this and plan according to what is available to you. Your goal is not to show off but to build up. Be focused and consistent. Know what you want and go for it. Know where you are going and lead your entire family there even if they don’t know the place yet. This is leadership.

In conclusion I want you to know that true leadership is not taking people from where they are to where they want to be, neither is it taking people from where they are to where you want them to be. Rather, true leadership is taking people from where they are to where they ought to be. Therefore you should know that true Godly leadership is all about taking people from where they are to where God wants them to be. This is your call as a man at home. Be a Godly leader. Find out where and what God wants your family to be and take them there. Seek God’s grace for this, though it is difficult but it is possible with God in your life. Shalom.

Love back!

Love back when you are loved. Because love is fulfilled when it’s loved back.

Love is a cycle. It goes out and satisfy every other persons.

But love is not fulfilled when it does not return back to the giver.

When love goes out it brings joy to everyone it met. But yet have no full joy until the love is returned.

The most fulfilling thing that brings the greatest joy in life is when those you love, loves you back.

So learn to love back. Let the world feel the ecstasy.

Love back!

The most driving factor in choosing marriage partners among people today is love. Other factors include money and materials.

And the greatest desire people have for their marriage is Peace and Harmony. Unfortunately most marriages today do not experience Peace and Harmony.

They don’t experience Peace and Harmony because the main ingredient that causes Peace and Harmony is absent. This ingredient surprisingly is not love, not money, not materials but purpose or passion.

I will be talking about what makes purpose very important and must not be neglected or negotiated.

What is Marriage?
Marriage is more than a union between a man and a woman.

It is union between a man and a woman for a Good given purpose.

The purpose factor in any marriage union is very important.

Every marriage is made by God to fulfill a particular purpose on Earth.

This purpose is in-built in the people coming together for marriage. Especially in the man because he is suppose to lead the new home on mission.

The woman is to support and complement him as a team to work together to fulfill the mission.

Wherefore, whenever you want to choose a marriage partner, you should look beyond the love factor and also look at the purpose factor.

Does what gives this person fulfillment, gives me Joy? If the answer is no; please don’t venture into it.

If whatever gives your partner Joy or fulfillment becomes a competitor to you, there is a very significant problem.

You cannot be unhappy with what makes him/her happy. No matter how strong the love and feeling is, it will die.

You cannot kill any man’s or woman’s God given passion. You can only complement it or flow with it if you want Harmony to occur.

We are not just created for love, we are also solely created for purpose.

The passion am talking about is not about money or materials, all these do pass away easily. It’s beyond these; it’s the passion to make a particular impact in life.

Please don’t marry a partner who is not happy about your purpose and passion. Don’t marry a partner you are not happy with his or her passion or purpose no matter the love.

Mary a partner you love and you love his/her purpose. Don’t marry for love alone. Marry for the love of the person and for the love of the passion or purpose.

Marriage is a TEAM to fulfill a PASSION in life.
